Painting works

The sequence of the paint job is important to get a quality coating and a durable finish. Here is the exact scheme of the painting work:

1. Surface Preparation:

• Surface cleaning: Removing dust, dirt, old paint, stains and other contaminants.
• Removal of old coating: If there are peeling or damaged areas of paint on the surface, they must be scraped off (with a trowel, brush or sander).
• Filling cracks and defects: Fill small cracks and defects with putty.
• Sanding: After puttying, the surface is sanded to remove irregularities and prepare for priming.

2. Priming:

• Application of primer: This is necessary to improve paint adhesion, moisture protection and uniform absorption.
• Primer drying: Wait until the primer is completely dry, the time is indicated on the primer package.

• Drying of the first coat: Allow time for the paint to dry completely.
• Sanding (if necessary): Light sanding to remove minor imperfections after the first coat of paint.

6. Application of the second coat of paint:

• The second coat of paint provides complete and uniform coverage.
• Drying of the second coat: Complete drying to achieve a tough and durable finish.

7. Finishing work:

• Correcting defects: Make localized corrections as necessary.
• Tool Cleaning: Clean paint residue from brushes, rollers and other equipment.

8. Aeration and Final Inspection:

• Allow surfaces to dry completely with room ventilation.
• Inspect the quality of the coating for any omissions or defects.
